Summary. ImberLab stores all data exclusively on your device. No cloud. No advertising. No tracking. No third-party sharing. The only external interaction is the Google Play Billing flow for the optional one-time Premium purchase, which is processed by Google.

Core Principle: No Cloud, No Sharing

ImberLab stores all data exclusively on your device. No personal data is transmitted, sold or shared. There is no advertising network and no analytics framework integrated into the app.

§ 03

Data Collected and Purpose

3.1 Camera

With your permission, the app accesses the camera to attach photos to logbook and chemical entries. Photos are stored locally only.

3.2 Stored Lab Data

  • Device and calibration records
  • Logbook entries including optional photos
  • Calculation results and analysis records
  • Chemical information and custom chemicals
  • Custom formulas
  • Passwords and credentials (stored locally, never transmitted)

3.3 In-App Purchase

The optional Premium purchase is processed via Google Play Billing. ImberLab does not receive or store payment data. Refer to Google's privacy policy for details on payment processing.

Data Sharing

No data is shared with third parties. There is no external server communication for app functionality.

Data Security

Your data is protected by Android's device-level security and the app's built-in app lock (PIN or biometric authentication). Backup files are unencrypted by default — store them in a secure location.

User Rights

  • Access — All data is viewable locally on your device.
  • Deletion — Use the in-app delete functions or uninstall the app via Android Settings.
  • Data portability — Use the Backup function to export all data.

Children

ImberLab is not directed at children under 13. The app is designed for laboratory professionals.

Changes to this privacy policy will be announced on the app's Google Play store page and on this website.

Important Notice ImberLab is a documentation and self-check tool for laboratory professionals. It is not an accredited calibration service. References to standards such as EN ISO 8655, DIN 32645, DIN 53 804 and ICH Q1E describe the methodologies used in the app's calculations — they do not imply certification, approval or accreditation of the app or its PDF outputs. Reports generated by ImberLab are intended for internal use and do not replace calibration or testing performed by an accredited body.
